DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine through an objective assessment (strategic growth plan) M/WBE strengths, weaknesses and potential for business success.
- Know each M/WBEs product and/or service offerings and the intricacies of their performance ability relative to specific corporate supplier requests.
- Develop and follow through of a strategic growth plan for the growth/development of each M/WBE in the SBA’s book of business (BOB).
- Develop new business strategies, conduct market analysis and recommendations for new and improved methods for marketing product and/or services.
- Identify and facilitate the potential for joint venture agreements or strategic partnerships where appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience in providing business development consultations and growth strategies, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or economics preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Organized with the ability to multi-task
- Experience using Salesforce a plus
- Highly motivated with the ability to exercise initiative and leadership
