DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Determine through an objective assessment (strategic growth plan) M/WBE strengths, weaknesses and potential for business success.
  2. Know each M/WBEs product and/or service offerings and the intricacies of their performance ability relative to specific corporate supplier requests.
  3. Develop and follow through of a strategic growth plan for the growth/development of each M/WBE in the SBA’s book of business (BOB).
  4. Develop new business strategies, conduct market analysis and recommendations for new and improved methods for marketing product and/or services.
  5. Identify and facilitate the potential for joint venture agreements or strategic partnerships where appropriate.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Demonstrated experience in providing business development consultations and growth strategies, preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in business or economics preferred
  3. Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
  4. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  5. Organized with the ability to multi-task
  6. Experience using Salesforce a plus
  7. Highly motivated with the ability to exercise initiative and leadership
